Our Story
Aeonia (Ancient Greek): eternal, timeless
Aeonia was founded by Isil Uzun an archaeology enthusiast who is Cypriot & Greek through marriage. Living in Amsterdam since 2012, Isil relocated to Cyprus during the first lockdown of Covid-19 pandemic. It was a love at first sight! Besides the beautiful coastline and sunny weather, Isil was inspired by the country’s rich history dating back to antiquity. She immersed herself in the museums, cultural events and workshops, and she enjoyed learning more about island’s ties to the ancient civilizations.
